MELANIE G. RUBOCKI

Melanie Rubocki is the Head of the Corporate group for the Boise Office. With a foundation in finance and entrepreneurial studies from the Wharton School of Business, Melanie brings a business sensibility and reasonableness to her client relations and any negotiated transaction.
RYAN STRATTON
CPA, ABV, CFF
As a swimmer at the University of Washington, Ryan was a Pacific-10 Conference All-American, Academic All-American, and four-year varsity letter winner. After completing his studies, Ryan was recruited by all Big 5 accounting firms and signed with PricewaterhouseCoopers, the largest personal services firm in the world.
JEFF ERWIN
SWIM CLUB OWNER/COACH
Jeff is a Boise, Idaho native. He graduated from Boise High in 1982 and swam for the Boise Y Swim Team. Jeff is a 4 time YMCA National Champion (1650 2x, 500 free, 400 IM), 2 time Junior National Champion (800 free, 1500 free). Swam for the University of California-Berkeley.
CHELSEA JOHNSTON
ICAC EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Chelsea is an Idaho native with a lifelong passion for swimming and working with youth. She began swimming at age four and joined her first swim team at six, laying the foundation for a career dedicated to aquatic education and mentorship.
Chelsea started her professional journey at the Treasure Valley YMCA in 2003 as a swim instructor and lifeguard. She went on to become an age group coach for the Boise Y Swim Team in 2006 and a summer camp counselor in 2007. From 2016 to 2020, she served as Camp Director at Y-Camp Horsethief Reservoir, where she led programs focused on youth development, leadership, and outdoor education.
A former swimmer with both the YMCA summer recreation team (Pirates) and the Boise Y Swim Team, Chelsea discovered her passion for teaching and coaching through her early experiences on deck. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Boise State University in 2014 and has since worked with swimmers of all ages—from infants to adults—helping them build confidence, safety skills, and competitive readiness in the water.
Since June 2023, Chelsea has been part of the Idaho Central Aquatic Center and Les Bois Swim Academy. She is committed to fostering a positive, inclusive environment and building a strong team that makes a lasting impact on every child, swimmer, and family who walks through the doors.
DANIEL WALLER
LBSA PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Daniel is our swim lessons program director. He comes to us after 23 years of service in the U.S. Air Force where he excelled as an F-15 Crew Chief and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. He served in the UK, Idaho, Oregon, and Saudi Arabia and deployed multiple times across many different locations across Southwest Asia. Daniel is an avid triathlete who has competed in 7 Ironman 70.3 events and multiple Sprint and Olympic events across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He started out here as a swim instructor before quickly moving into a manager.
